Rubber Industry Research Institute (JSC "NIIRP") is a leading Russian research organization in the field of development of materials, processes and advanced types of rubber technical products (RTI) for various branches of national economy.

Cumulated over 50 years engineering experience covers a wide spectrum of products for engineering industry, power engineering, mining industries, medicine, systems of safety and rescue of the human life.

Our technical opportunities in design and manufacture of products of elastomeric materials allow to give out highly effective designs which not only meet all demands of the user, but even anticipate them. Workers of the Institute, using modern technology, equipment and devices, develop a wide range of rubber technical products of high quality and reliability.

The Institute has a well equipped laboratory for physical-mechanical and analytical tests of raw material, samples of rubber and testing machines for tests of finished products.

In 2009 NIIRP was certified in the System of quality management conforming to international standard ISO 9001-2001.

Extensive database of the normative engineering specifications, orders of manufacture and formulations of rubber allow to create and produce the products that function reliably in the severe conditions of power loadings and aggressive media.
Experimental-industrial production of the Institute is located in the territory of 16,5 hectares in the picturesque suburb of Sergiev Posad city ( Moscow region). Over 300 highly qualified professionals are engaged in development, design, testing and production of elastomer work at the factory. We use wide range of rubber of natural and synthetic origin, including one with high resistance to heat and frost, oil, aggressive environment with temperatures up to 200 Celsius degrees above zero.

The most important areas of work conducted in the Institute include works on creation and organization of production of the following products: · Rubber stocks and half stuffs for manufacture of rubber technical products;

• Molded rubber goods: seals, gaskets, shock absorbers, vibroisolators of buildings, technical plates, protective details, O-rings , membranes, spigot, etc.;
• Non- formed rubber technical products: profiles and tubes of various cross-sections, seals, including those of foam rubber, rubber that is resistant to aggressive media and factors of natural aging, of alimentary and silicone rubber, etc.;
• Drive belts of various lengths and cross-sections, including classical V-belts, narrow V-belts, poly-V belts, variable speed V-belts, joined V-belts, double V-belts, molded cogged raw V-belts, flat belts, V-belts with special top surface, timing belts, etc.;
• Inflatable products of rubberized fabrics: shock-absorbers of aircrafts, life rafts, inflatable boats and escape chutes, time sealing devices for pipelines, elevators, air shelters, swimming pools and many other things;
• Products of silicone rubber for medicine and food-processing industry: single-channel and multi-channel tubes, capillaries, details of medical devices, porous implants.
